Dr Mousumi Chatterjee

Dr Mousumi Chatterjee

Mousumi Chatterjee is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at Brunel University London in the Institute of Environment, Health and Societies (IEHS).

Mousumi is a biogeochemist having studied toxic metals and persistent organic pollutants in estuarine sediments during her doctoral and post‐doctoral work in India. With experience as a researcher and lecturer, and with many publications, she is returning to research after a five year break.

Her project is titled: Assessment of the risks from combined exposures to heavy metals and other compounds leading to developmental neurotoxicity

Due to finish in 2023, her Fellowship is sponsored by Brunel University London.
