  • Postdoctoral role on a collaborative project between Durham University and the Non Government Organisation (NGO) Earth Watch, based in Oman, running a conservation project on Arabian leopards. Worked with Greenpeace and also travelled to gain experience in carnivore conservation

Returning to her research after a 12-year break, Julia’s Fellowship is entitled: “Establishing threats to the Sumatran tiger from human-wildlife conflict and illegal hunting, and evaluating the effectiveness of predator proof corrals in Northern Sumatra”
