Returning to her research after an 8-year break, Ban’s Fellowship is entitled: “Extensions to the Growth Method for the Design of Space-Frame Structures”. Ban’s research explores how to optimize the design of large geometric structures such as roofs, bridges, and towers, increasing effectiveness, efficiency and applicability of structural design.
