Returning to his research after a 5-year break, Luke’s Fellowship is entitled: “The collapse of mafic magma chambers: new insights from the Rum central intrusion, NW Scotland. ” His project will challenge a long held view of the Rum Central Intrusion using a comprehensive blend of field-based and analytical tools that can be used to launch ambitious projects centring around mineral resources hosted within mafic rocks.
