Returning to her research after a 8-year break, Chigdem’s Fellowship is entitled: “Understanding activation of glutamate neuroreceptors for neurodevelopmental disorders treatment”. This research will help to understand how glutamate neuroreceptors (a type of receptor in the brain) are activated to help develop treatments for certain conditions that affect brain development and function.
