Dr Hermine Landt-Wilman

Hermine is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at Durham University in the Department of Physics.

Having studied physics at Muenster, Glasgow and Hamburg Universities, Hermine carried out research towards her PhD at the Space Telescope Science Institute, Baltimore, obtaining her PhD from Hamburg University. This led on to post doctoral positions at Harvard, Melbourne and Durham and the publication of many papers. Hermine is now returning to research after a four year break.

Her project is entitled: Astrochemistry of the Dust Around Supermassive Black Holes in the New Era of Transient Infrared Sky Surveys

Hermine’s Fellowship is sponsored by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and is due to finish in 2023.
