Dr Zhengui Xue

Dr Zhengui Xue is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at Queen's University Belfast in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Field: Engineering & Technology

Host: Queen’s University of Belfast

Funder: Queen’s University of Belfast

Fellowship Title: Machine Learning Empowered Intelligent Robot Control

Zhengui Xue is a researcher in automatic control and machine learning with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Her work spans model-based and data-driven approaches to system identification, optimisation, and intelligent control. She has held research positions at Queen’s University Belfast, Ulster University, and the National School of Public Works (ENTPE) in France, contributing to projects funded by EPSRC and the French National Research Agency. Her research has produced publications in leading journals and first-tier conferences in the fields of control theory and machine learning.

Returning to research after her career break, Zhengui’s fellowship project focuses on advancing the learning capabilities of intelligent robotic systems. By combining model-based control principles with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, her work aims to develop autonomous, reliable, and data-efficient robot learning frameworks suitable for real-world applications.
