As a Fellowship Advisor, Sally is responsible for assessing applicants’ eligibility for a Fellowship, supporting them through the application process and mentoring successful Fellows throughout their Fellowship.

Sally holds a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol and completed a PhD in Neuroscience at the Institute of Neurology, University College London, sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline. She worked as a Research Scientist both at King’s College London and the University of Portsmouth and also as a Principal Scientist for Trio Medicines working on pre-clinical development and phase I and phase II clinical trials. Following an eight- year career break to care for her young children, Sally joined the Daphne Jackson Trust in December 2023.
