Leslie works on a range of projects including web content and covered maternity leave as Communications Lead. She holds a PhD in History from Yale University and has worked as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Oxford and City University of New York. Leslie joined the Daphne Jackson Trust in 2024 after a seven-year career break, in which she raised two small children, wrote historical fiction, and lived in the UK, US, and Pakistan.
