Fellowship Title: Phenotypes, genomes and the evolution of the visual systems of laryngeally echolocating bats

The sensory systems of bats have fascinated biologists for decades; in this project I will use cutting-edge research methods to further advance our understanding of their evolution.

My research career to date has included positions at Queen Mary University of London and at the Natural History Museum. During which I applied a range of molecular and morphometric techniques to study adaptations across several mammalian groups including bats, African mole-rats and cetaceans.

We rely on our partners to fund fellowships, host and supervise fellows at their institutions and provide support to help us grow. Find out more about how to get involved below.
