New job opportunities at the Daphne Jackson Trust

Could you be our new Fellowship Advisor or Data Compliance Officer?

Applications are invited for the posts of Fellowship Advisor and Data Compilance Officer at the Daphne Jackson Trust.

The Daphne Jackson Trust offers Fellowships for returners to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) after a career break of two years or more and when taken for family, caring or health reasons.

The new Fellowship Advisor will play a key role in supporting returners throughout the stages of the application process from the initial enquiry through to completion of the Fellowship. The Fellowship Advisor is the main point of contact for these individuals, providing advice, support and guidance, and in liaison with the Fellowship Officers, will ensure the efficient management of applications for Fellowships. The post will involve the assessment of a candidate’s initial eligibility and further assessments on whether they are formally invited to apply for a Fellowship.

For further information and details on how to apply for the post of Fellowship Advisor, please see the full job advert here.

With the new GDPR regulations there is a requirement for a new Data Compliance Officer to ensure that the Trust is legally compliant with the new regulations. This role will require the post officer to assess the current processes and paperwork produced by the Trust and then put in place all the policies and changes required to ensure that the Trust is legally compliant. The Trust is part way through this process, having had a data audit completed and started working on the recommendations but now requires a Data Compliance Officer for a fixed period to complete the work.

For further information and details on how to apply for the post of Data Compliance Officer, please see the full job advert here.

The closing date for both applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 1 May 2019 with interviews held for both posts in the week commencing 13th May 2019.
