Networking Event for Women in Science at British Science Festival

The Daphne Jackson Trust, in partnership with the Royal Society of Chemistry is sponsoring a Women in Science networking event that will take place at the University of Birmingham on Monday 8th September, 6-7.30pm. We hope you will join us there to find out more about the Daphne Jackson Trust, meet women scientists, including current and former Daphne Jackson Fellows and extend your networks. The Women in Science Networking Event is part of the British Science Festival and will take place on Mon 8th Sept 6-7.30pm in the Café Aroma, Staff House at the University of Birmingham. Women scientists at all levels, including current and former Daphne Jackson Fellows, will be attending the event together with a number of science journalists. A representative from the Daphne Jackson Trust will open proceedings, and wine & canapes will be available. The networking will be followed at 8pm by a Women in Science in TV event, taking place 5 minutes walk away, which includes panelists Gia Milinovich, Lucy Pilkington, and Alice Roberts.
