Daphne Jackson Funding Partners – MS Society UK

19 November 2024 | Blogs, News news

Here at the Daphne Jackson Trust, we partner with funders and hosts to provide new and exciting fellowship opportunities.  Our fellowships help those who want to return to research after a career break of at least two years taken for family, caring or health reasons.

One of our newest funding partners is the MS Society UK.  This fabulous organisation who has invested over £227 million in today’s money in MS research since 1956, and their projects put people living with MS at the heart of research.  Their projects prioritise the issues that matter to patients, including how to prevent, stop, or slow disability associated with the disease.

The MS Society UK funds a wide range of research to achieve these goals.  Their current projects encompass everything from measuring MRI and blood markers to investigating how online programs can help people with MS continue working.

We are delighted to provide a new opportunity to continue the work of the MS Society, expanding MS research as part of the offerings of the Daphne Jackson Trust.  Our current fellowship is flexible, part-time and can be held at any UK university or research institute.
