About this Fellowship
Applications are invited for a three-year part-time Daphne Jackson Fellowship co-sponsored by JDRF to be held at any UK university or research establishment. The Fellowship is intended for researchers interested in type 1 diabetes and its associated complications who want to return to their research careers.
The remaining funding will be secured by the Daphne Jackson Trust from an additional sponsor.
JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure. We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. Internationally, we are the world’s leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research. We work with academia, industry and governments to make sure that the research we fund has the greatest possible impact on the lives of people with type 1 now and in the future.
We welcome Fellowship applications that will address one of our priority areas, curing type 1 diabetes or improving lives by keeping people with type 1 diabetes as healthy as possible until cures are found by advancing new T1D resources, technologies, and therapies.
