Mrs Johanna McNicholl-Kennedy
Johanna McNicholl-Kennedy is a Daphne Jackson Fellow in the College of Life Sciences at the University of Leicester.
Johanna’s research interests are in infectious disease, host-pathogen interactions and the immune response. She is returning to biological sciences/microbiology after a 10 year career break.
Her Fellowship is sponsored by the University of Leicester and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).
Johanna’s research project is titled: The development of an ex vivo porcine spleen perfusion model to investigate the early stages of systemic disease and is due to finish in 2019.
