Dr Yasmin Guler
Yasmin Guler is a Daphne Jackson Fellow in the Institute of Marine Sciences at the University of Portsmouth.
With a PhD in Biological Sciences, also from the University of Portsmouth, Yasmin’s background is in marine biology. Following a three year career break, Yasmin is seeking to acquire new skills in bioinformatics with her Fellowship.
Her Fellowship is sponsored by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).
Her research project is titled: Molecular underpinning to similar behavioural manipulation in two convergent parasite-host models and she is due to finish her Fellowship in 2021.
