Dr Tammy Porter

Dr Tammy Porter is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at The University of Manchester in the School of Materials.

A chemist specialising in corrosion resistance, Tammy is now returning to the same University where she originally completed her PhD, after a fifteen year career break.

Tammy’s Fellowship is sponsored by The University of Manchester and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

Her research project is titled: Characterisation of Self Assembled Monolayers on Pure Iron Oxide/Hydroxide Substrates; Applications for Corrosion Protection and she will complete her Fellowship in 2021.
