Dr Reshu Tyagi

Reshu Tyagi is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at The University of Edinburgh in the Departments of Chemistry and Engineering.

Reshu has a BSc in Chemistry, Zoology and Botany and an MSc in Chemistry from the Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar, India. She then studied for an MTech in Polymer Science and Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. This ignited her interest in polymer research which she continued into her PhD studying the design, synthesis and characterisation of polymeric materials for water purification from same institute. Throughout her PhD, Reshu worked as a teaching assistant at the University. She published two first authored papers, as well as a patent.

Reshu’s Fellowship is sponsored by The University of Edinburgh and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
