Dr Kelly Thornber

Kelly Thornber is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at the University of Exeter and CEFAS (The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science).

Kelly is a biochemistry graduate. She completed her PhD and post-doc in medical research. Kelly is enjoying returning to science research after a nine year career break.

Kelly’s Fellowship is sponsored by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).

Her research project is titled: Establishing factors that influence the spread of antimicrobial resistance in Asian aquaculture and is due to be completed in 2019.
