Dr Emily Clarke

Emily Clarke is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at the UK Dementia Research Institute at University College London.

Emily has a degree in Pharmacy from The University of Manchester, and an MSc in Neuroscience from King’s College London, which led to her undertaking a PhD at King’s College London studying Lewy body dementia. Following this Emily worked as a postdoctoral researcher looking into Lewy body dementia and Parkinson’s disease.

Returning to research after a three year career break Emily’s project is titled: Measuring changes of a-synuclein conformations in patient blood samples as a biomarker for Parkinson’s disease and Dementia with Lewy bodies.
