Dr Cynthia Wright Drakesmith

Cynthia Wight-Drakesmith is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at the University of Oxford in the Radcliffe Department of Medicine, within the Medical Sciences Division.

Cynthia took a five year career break from a former research career in clinical medicine and is now returning to science, pursing new interests in computational research, specifically bioinformatics.

Cynthia’s Fellowship is sponsored by the University of Oxford and the Medical Research Council (MRC).

Her research project is titled: Computational tools for cancer immunotherapy target identification and is due to be completed in 2019.
