Dr Bahereh Shirinfar

Bahareh Shirinfar is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at the University of Bath in the Department of Chemistry. Studying as a chemist in Iran, Bahareh completed her PhD at Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea. With an interest in biosensors she went on to hold research posts in Zurich and England and is now returning to her career after a three year break.

This Fellowship is sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and is due to finish in 2022.

Bahareh’s research project is entitled: Next Generation of Biosensors for better metabolic control and their medical uses
