Dr Anna Toth
Anna Toth is a Daphne Jackson Fellow at The University of Edinburgh in the School of Physics and Astronomy.
After completing an MPhys from Eötvös Lóránd University (ELTE) and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), Anna enrolled in the Doctoral School of ELTE to work on lattice quantum chromodynamics. Developing a strong interest in condensed matter physics, Anna switched fields and after obtaining her PhD at BUTE, she went on to work as a postdoctoral associate at Rutgers University in the USA and then at Vienna University of Technology.
Returning to research after an eight year career break, Anna’s project is entitled: Search for Novel Non-Fermi Liquid Models and Materials.
Due to finish in 2023, her Fellowship is sponsored by The University of Edinburgh and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
